Mt Rushmore Fireworks??Where the hell?

Down to my last four working days here in custer state park. Enjoyed my stay and work here. Get to know lots of friends, slog like siao, have tonnes of lame jokes, supper and laughters.

Supposedly there is fireworks at mount rushmore ( the faces of the 4 US president) yesterday. But the weather was so foggy that we cant see a single shit..just saw shades of red, blue, purple and green. Nonetheless, during the 2hr wait for the 'fireworks', camwhores and flashes went round and we like having our mini party there.......

Wow..missed out alot of shows when i m stucked here in South Dakota.

Angels and Demons, NIght in the MUseum....

But lucky there is 'hao xin ren; hu drive us down to watch transformers...

Wasnt really attracted to it when i watched the trailer online..

Well..then i went to watch it...yup...the story plot is corny like hell man....graphics and stuff..doesnt really attract me that much too also..cause its quite the same as the first movie. And the setting...Wah lau..same as the first one lor....

But well i guess its lame funny........BUT ..Megan Fox is so super hot!!!

well the tickets here in states are relatively about the same in spore. cinema is not really fantastic..probably is not in california hollywood...well...free seating...got separated with my friends....but it doesnt really matter bah....haha..

haiz..sick of the job already..haha everyday doing the same kind of stuff...well..if i will to come again..probably 2 months is the max bah...tho maybe half a month more i can earn more money....working 6 days a week under the hot sun...carrying heavy stuff.reallly gets tiring at times...okie enugh of the grumbles...

3 weeks passed, 3 weeks more, 3 weeks back in sg.

Past three weeks have been quite mundane. Stuck here, nth to do. No one to drive us to other places. Thus nth realli much to talk about for the past 3 weeks.

Now new people new faces, from russia, turkey, and taiwan!...oh my god..we are so lao jiao here already.Been here since may and kind of like first batch here of coz with my bosses who reached earlier. Haiz..in the past, like been adore and pamper like boss will treat us esp nice and drive us to town etc, but now we are 'guo qi huo' - expired products! haha..new people get all the benefits le..tips..of course if cant divide equally then have to like give them more haha. and the tip is not a lot too so kind of end up with one buck that kind..unlike the past where we were really short handed haha...and less people can get more!

Well, its really good to have more people around cause the business is really picking up..and another 3 weeks more i will leave this place..well..lots of fond memories...its really a nice place..and really pity that i cant like go to other sightseeing places.....hopefuly i do get a chance to do that....

Lastly 6 more weeks back to singapore....its like so long..tho not very long lar..haha..but home is home..so kind of misses it alittle more now...tho not very much.

Custer/Safari Jeep ride

Was really cold these days!...4 degree cel the other day!..today was raining hailstorm and fog was like really heavy and down to like 2 storeys that low...Creeps when i walked in the thick fog along the trail. You never know there might be a mountain lion looking at you over the rock in the fog!

Had my jeep ride ytd...nobody tell me it would be so cold!!!!cuiz lar..haiz...kind of my own fault also..haiz..dun koe what i was thinking that moment..berms and a long sleeve shirt only?..i was shivering the whole 4 hour journey!!!!oh god....lucky quickly come back rest..if not fall sick can die le...

Quite busy lately as the business i mean people coming and stay at the lodge, tomorrow or later in singapore time, there's going to be like about 82 checkouts plus stayovers. God...last time work until so shit no tip hopefully tmr have!!

Just now, kind of work OT coz the customers werent pleased that we din not clean up his cabin. Well think is like our leader's fault today. Cause went in the early morning then they hanged Do Not Disturb (DND). when we forget all about it in the aftn. so just now like my boss and sup went back le..then left me and other two eating at the dining room, the front desk people came to like look for us...haha..so value the chance to drive the van to help clean up...if not..hardly drive..actually..can drivce but then...haha...chen lao ban off de shi hou drive....

Wa Ta! RushMore!

Wanna gather all the pics before i blog this post..but then it seems so difficult to get the pics from all the rest of the people!

Had my off last friday. Went to hike a trail called lovers leap...Actually is like climbing more than hiking tho..was so damn tired totally cuiz man..my knee was like aching lar...the view downwards wasnt really fantastic but then the mountains across, the air was so fresh, its realli feels so good sitting up there.

Then came back to the lodge where i work to use the internet to plan my tour after this work stint. Hopefully we can book the tickets by end of the week and stuff. Wah the swine flu thingy was kind of like getting abit serious in spore and i was like shit man...tho i m not going new york but then california is another place where is like quite a number of cases as well...whenever i think of it totally sian diaoz.

Then we went mount rushmore! with the courtesy of my boss and other who drove us there! 20miles from the place we worked....wah...petrol is xiong de lor...haha haven realli like pay him for all the trips to city etc.

Finally got the chance to see the four presidents faces up close... Well i dont know..its kind of like slight disappointment also..cause i dont think it was really like magnificent..but then...able to been there and see it, i think its realli a lifetime experience or well at least realli a must see attraction here in south dakota!..Took lots of photos there...Had a fun time! but in the expense of my dinner..tot of like can go town to eat a decent asian meal but boss was heading back dorm so bo bian...came back and cooked instant noodles while my peers in another car went city to eat...

Last but not the least! haha I wanna express my gratitudes to the following people!! of coz...say only ting le shuang only haha will buy things for them hopefully i have enough money cause there are others that i have to buy as well!!

My family..cooks good food days before i leave. my bro thanks for the pocket money..Dad..well nagging perhaps?

Forgot the number of blog posts about custer.
Weather is turning hot, just like Singapore.
Work is tiring, but tips are the ones that keep me going.
Made new friends, had joy and laughter.
Internet here is pissing me off, cable is badly cripped. Router itself is bad.
Get d/c everytime before i upload all my photos.
Been two weeks le. Everything is fine.
Friday is my pay day. Finally. And its my off day too.
Don't know what's the day and date for the day when i wake up every morning.
It's not important anyway.
Houseflies are becoming more active due to the weather.
Unlike the ones in Singapore, these are really bugging and slow.
Probably if i have the chance, and the people here stays and continue next seasons, I would want to come back again. =)

Today is finally my day off after working like for 8 or 9 days. Decided to check out the nearby resort and we decide to walk instead of like renting a bike which is faster. In the end, we walked 6miles which is like 9.7 km to the next resort. Spent like 2 hours plus walking the winding highway and like gaining in altitude. Wah like in vest slack road march..But the destination is like not fantastic which like...feel abit...wasted kind of feeling. Luckily when we walked back, one of the cook saw us and gave us a lift back. Though back track is going downhill but then..is like another 2 hours walk..going to die lar...

In the end we came back just in time to go to town (cause one lady was telling us in the morning that she was going town in the aftn and asked us whether we wanna go). First time in town. Well, here is such an ulu place, their like downtown 'broadwalk' is like half the length of the orchard road only. Went to the so called Asian market well just a shop selling asian products from korean, china etc. haha saw my milo...but a single packet of instant noodles which cause 1.50 usd...in singapore that money i can like buy 5 packets lar!

Then went wall mart their general store like that..was huge..hard time finding what we need sia...but then came back...so this is how i spent my off day..haiz..hopefully next time i can go to like tourist attraction nearby la....so sian here...
